🌧 "...hot mess on a rainy day."

I remember spending so much time whining to God while I was single asking him, "Why haven't you brought my husband to me yet? Where is he?? Did you forget I'm solo dolo in these streets?"

All the time not realizing I had already known him. In fact I'd been forming a friendship with him for years.

I think God had my eyes closed to that possibility. Until the appropriate time period I think he knew that if it was too early and we tried for a relationship I would have just jacked it up. I mean, even when it was the right time I tried to jack it up so God knows, literally, what kind of hot garbage on a rainy day mess it would have been before that.

I realized that that wasn't something God did to me, but rather, something God did for me.

Don't complain to God asking him why he has it brought you what you desire yet. Be thankful that he hasn't revealed it to you if it's not the right time period ask him to call me your heart until the right time arises because his timing, as I can fully attest to, is in fact perfect.

What advice would you give someone who is dreading

What advice would you give someone who is dreading the week ahead? How would you encourage them?

I used to get anxious about this time every Sunday - with Monday and all of the week's responsibilities a few hours away.

Let's not give into it. It all depends on the lense you choose to view the next 7 days with.
