Boldness is not about being an extrovert.
Boldness us not even necessarily about confidence.

Some of your boldest moments might be when your voice is quivering and your knees are shaking.

When you believe that God is your strength, your foundation, and that He loves you too much to let you fall, that He is faithful and keeps every promise - boldness, in its most subdued or boisterous forms - is a natural byproduct.

If I could go back and tell this me one thing, it would be to be still.

Be still so you can embrace the wonder of all that God is about to do.
Be still and appreciate the fact that you, woman, were created to do hard things.
Be still and take each moment in along the way.
Be still. Life will change forever in a matter of weeks. And that's the beauty of it all.

His purpose over my plans.

My plans were not to be in ministry. As a matter of fact, my mother, who is super beasties with Jesus, told me when I was young that I was called to ministry.

I told her she was crazy. I had other plans.

I am so greartul that His purpose for my life prevailed over my plans. So. Greatful.

He's teaching me this lesson all over again in motherhood. It's a lesson in surrendering my definition of great for His display of more than I can ask, think or imagine.

Have you submitted your plans to Him to do what He will not what you want? No. Really. Have you?
